When should we build custom software instead of buying an existing ERP/CRM?
Buy for standard commoditised processes (like basic payroll or general ledger), and build when you have proprietary workflows, unusual pricing logic, or specialized manufacturing routing that off-the-shelf software cannot handle without ugly hacks.
How do you prevent project scope creep?
Our IDEA framework explicitly defines Phase I (Discovery) where we produce a prioritized MoSCoW backlog. We lock scope per two-week sprint and demo working increments so adjustments are deliberate and budgeted.
Can custom software be hosted on our private cloud or on-prem servers?
Yes. Everything we build is fully containerized with Docker. You can run it on your own AWS/Azure/GCP account, a private dedicated server in Hetzner, or your local data center.
What happens if we want our in-house team to maintain the software later?
We design codebases following industry-standard design patterns, PEP8/PSR standards, typed contracts, and thorough READMEs. We provide thorough handover sessions to your in-house developers.
